Céide Fields
Céide Fields

The Céide Fields are the oldest known field systems in the world, over five and a half millennia old. They form a unique Neolithic landscape off the West Coast of Ireland. This recently made wooden passage way is constructed over ancient peat land. What attracted me to make this photograph was that the walkway seemed to lead...well nowhere. The original was shot in colour, converted to Black & White and then lightly sepia toned.
