Two Men and a Dog...!
Two Men and a Dog...!

Earlier in the gig food was generously served to the musicians. The dog, smelling the grub, occasionally let out a yelp looking for a share. The owner of the dog, who is also the proprietor, asked the musicians not to feed him - no, not the Proprietor, the dog!

However, this is seemingly a musical dog as every time he yelped it seemed to co-inside with a a natural appreciative moment in the music, or a transition to another tune. So on cue the dog's timing was perfect. He still didn't get any food! (well, maybe just a few fries but say nothing to the proprietor!)

Reminds me of the old joke about the mechanical dog - everytime he got a kick up the ass "he made a bolt" for the door! Ah...the old ones are best! The musicians are Paul Kelly,Fiddle & Pat Gough, Fiddle & Concertina Player.

[For the photo nerdy the shot was taken at 800 ISO; F/2 aperture and 1/2 second speed, under the available artificial light - which was almost non-existent, with the camera finely balanced on an empty pint glass - which the waiter kept taking away! Luckily neither Paul nor the Musical Dog moved during the half-second time exposure]
