Joe Burke and Anne Conroy sharing a laugh at the Cavan Fleadh
Viewing the Fleadh from the balcony of Chapter 1 Café, are husband and wife duo, Joe Burke (Accordion) and Anne Conroy (Guitar) at the Cavan Fleadh where they were watching over young musicians playing on the street just below them. Anne is also a very accomplished and highly regarded Accordion player in her own right.
Joe's sense of humour is legion. When once asked by an over-zealous listener "when will we hear your next LP?" Joe told him "God, it takes a long time to make a new LP, ye know" to which me man pipes up "and what makes it take so long, then?" says Joe..."It's really difficult to get the hole right bang in the middle!"
