A baby Sting Ray...
Found this little guy in Sea Life in Bray, Co. Wicklow in the incubation aquarium. He only measured about 5 inches round and swam perpendicular to the glass so that his underside, where his "Face" is, was almost flat to view.
So young was he that the light behind him shows his developing tissue to be almost transparent, and his blood vessels are quite visible. Probably only a few weeks old.
